If you haven't noticed, a lot of new nicotine pouch brands are popping up all over the US. Many of these are white label brands, produced in China, and seizing on the popularity of this format in the US. Today we have another such brand to check out: Zylo. Zylo is distributed by NewNative Innovations LLC. Zylo comes in two strengths: 6mg and 9mg, and has a pretty wide assortment of flavors, mostly those that are already popular on the US market. Today, I have 6 different flavors to check out, so let's see what Zylo is all about!
Here you'll see the pouches. One note is that this one has a child-proof can much like Zyn does. The labels are rather thick, so I actually had to cut into these with my pocket knife to get into them. To discuss what they have in common, I want to talk about the pouches, the nicotine, and the flavor longevity. Each can weighs in at 10 grams, and contains 20 pouches, weighing 0.5g each. You'll notice they look like Zyn products, but are slightly more full, a little more most, and softer. They're small in size, but feel okay under the lip. The nicotine strengths are listed as 6mg and 9mg, which I'm going to assume is mg/pouch. The 6mg one feels lighter, but the 9mg one feels closer to regular strength. In terms of flavor longevity, these all seem to have about 30 minutes of life to them. Now, with all that being said, let's talk about how they differ: aroma and flavor!

Flavor Description: "Cooling berry"

Zylo Mint Ice

Zylo Wintergreen

Review: This one has a present aroma of wintergreen to it. It's lightly sweet in nature. In the lip, I get a little cooling sensation when I put this one in. The flavor is a pretty present taste of wintergreen with a lightly sweet nature to it.
Zylo Peppermint
Flavor Description: "Strongest menthol"
Review: This one has a lightly sweet aroma of peppermint, along with a subtle hint of menthol. I get a little cooling sensation in the lip when I put one in. The flavor is lightly sweet, and seems to be a mix of mild peppermint and subtle menthol.
Zylo Spearmint
Flavor Description: "Balanced spearmint & menthol"
Review: In the world of mint, I'm more partial to spearmint tastes. I like peppermint, don't get me wrong, but I think spearmint is a better tasting mint. When I open the can, I get a lightly sweet aroma of spearmint, along with a subtle hint of menthol. In the lip, I get a little cooling presence, due to the mint character. The flavor of spearmint is subtle, and lightly sweet. I also notice light tones of menthol in the flavor profile. And, with that being the last one, let's check out what I thought of these!
Ratings and Final Thoughts
So, all in all, they seem to be slightly more moist versions of Zyn. They weren't bad, for what they are, but there are a lot of companies out there distributing products that are just like these. With all that being said, I put my ratings below. You can peruse them and see what you think. They ranged between 2.75 and 3.08 on average, which would put these in the below-average to average range. They weren't bad, just not my thing. However, if you're a Zyn user looking for an alternative, I think you may like these. Their website distributes them, and I've seen them here and there around the US, as well.
