I try to avoid politics here as much as possible, so I'm going to try to write this preview article without going too much into that. So, if you aren't familiar, Tucker Carlson is a popular Conservative personality. Formerly of Fox News, but now more well known with his show on X/Twitter. In some circles, he's even known as Tucker CarlZyn. Why? Earlier this year, there was a bit of a kerfuffle about Zyn. Long story short, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tried to go after it, then Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called for a "Zynsurrection", and it went from there. Tucker Carlson would come out in support of Zyn, and thus the legend of Tucker CarlZyn was born. He's partial to the Spearmint Zyn, from what I've seen. Well, now it seems as though he's going to go a little bit further in this exciting little world of ours.
Earlier today, on Twitter/X, an account called Old Row had Tucker on, and in their video he said that he is no longer using Zyn. Again, to avoid being overtly political, he basically disagreed with the parent companies political donations, and now believes that Zyn is more suited for "your girlfriend". So, he has gone on to start his own brand called Alp Pouches.
According to their website, AlpPouch.com, this is some background on the brand:
According to their Instagram account, they are launching with three strengths (3mg, 6mg, and 9mg), and 5 flavors: Tropical Fruit, Sweet Nectar, Mountain Wintergreen, Chilled Mint, and Refreshing Chill. The can photo above says each can will have 20 pouches, so they went 5 more than Zyn.
According to their website, AlpPouch.com, this is some background on the brand:
"Coming this November 2024! A Better Time: The all-new nicotine pouch by Tucker Carlson. ALP satisfies and frees your mind. At ALP, we believe in a better time. On their website, they have a sign-up form where you can supply your email address to get put onto their mailing list for news about Alp Pouch.

Now, I don't know much beyond that - who makes them, what kinda pouches they are (mini, slim, dry, moist, etc), or anything I usually like to share. However, their website says they're based in Miami, FL, so I'm not sure if they have a white label company produce for them or if they produce here. But, I'll update this article if I learn more and will review some once they are available. Stay tuned!
They are now available for pre-order shipping in December. Going to give them a try.
ReplyDeleteI posted a review of them yesterday!
