Iceberg Medium (Gum Flavors) Nicotine Pouches - Review. 23 September 2024.

Over the years, I've seen a lot of folks talking about Iceberg.  Iceberg is a nicotine pouch brand made in Poland.  While commonly known for higher strengths, I recently saw a UK based store called Pods & Pouches that has them in the "medium" strength level, so I said hey, it's time, let's check this brand out.  They have some regular flavors, and some that are bubble gum inspired, so these are the gum-inspired flavors that we'll be checking out today.  I have six of them, so this will be a fun little journey we'll be taking together!  So before we get into the individual reviews, let's get to know these products and talk about their background, and what they have in common!

Details and Commonalities

Each can of Iceberg weighs 12 grams, and has 20 pouches, meaning 0.6 gram pouches.  These are listed as medium strength, which is 20mg/g.  That may sound high, but when you factor in the pouch weight, that's just 12mg per pouch.  So, pretty reasonable, and just a hair above "regular" strength.  In regards to using them and what they have in common, all the pouches are slim, and semi-moist.  They have a nice feel under the lip.  The nicotine strength is comfortable, and pleasant.  It feels to deliver above the regular strength mark.  They have a decent flavor longevity, all lasting about 40-45 minutes, on average.  One thing you'll notice is that they all seem to have menthol in the flavor.  I think that's a common EU thing, because I notice it with other brands as well.  So, in the aroma and flavor of each you'll notice some menthol, and you'll also notice a cooling sensation when you use these.

Now that we've talked about their commonalities, let's break down the differences in each one and talk about aroma and flavor!

Iceberg Strawberry Banana Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Strawberry and Banana"

Review:  In the aroma, this one has a pretty good mix of strawberry and banana.  It's slightly sweet, has hints of menthol and this 'bubble-gum essence' to it.  I think that's how I'll describe it in these reviews.  In the taste, I get slightly more banana, then some strawberry.  Of course I taste the 'bubble-gum essence', and some menthol.

Iceberg Bubble Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Bubble Gum"

Review:  This one is the ultimate 'bubble-gum essence'.  Let's just call it BGE moving on from here.  So, it basically smells and tastes just like pink bubble gum.  It's kinda sweet, and has some menthol in the aroma and the flavor.

Iceberg Cherry Apricot Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Cherry Apricot"

Review:  This one has some apricot int he aroma, then a little cherry.  Behind that, some menthol, and of course BGE.  In the flavor, I pick up the BGE up front, and then a mild taste of apricot.  There's a subtle hint of menthol, and a dab of cherry.

Iceberg Grape Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Grape"

Review:  This one was pretty nice, it kind of reminded me of grape Kool-Aid.  It has that BGE to it, along with some menthol.  In the flavor, the grape taste is quite nice.  I pick up some menthol notes, and then the BGE.

Iceberg Strawberry Mango Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Strawberry and Mango"

Review:  This one has a nice tropical aroma to it.  I pick up mango, then a little strawberry.  There's also some menthol in the aroma, of course.  In the flavor, it's mostly mango, with a bit of berry mixed in, some menthol, and that BGE.  This one was pretty tasty.

Iceberg Watermelon Mint Gum Nicotine Pouches

Flavor Description:  "Watermelon Mint Gum"

Review:  This one really grabbed me.  I like melon flavors, and you don't see a lot of them out there.  The inclusion of mint was something I was curious about.  This was actually one of the first cans that I opened up.  So, let's check it out, shall we?  It has a fresh watermelon smell, along with some sweet mint and menthol tones to it.  The taste is a really present watermelon flavor.  There are sweet tones of mint, some subtle menthol notes, and the BGE.  It mixes pretty well.

Rating and Final Thoughts

All in all, these weren't too bad!  I was kinda curious about how the 'bubble gum essence', or 'BGE' would work.  And, the inclusion of menthol in all of the flavor profiles, as well.  But, it all worked out pretty well in the end!  If I had to rank my favorites, first place was Grape Gum and Watermelon Mint Gum, at 3.67/5.  Second place was Strawberry Mango Gum at 3.5/5.  Third place was Bubble Gum, at 3.42/5.  And fourth place was Strawberry Banana Gum and Cherry Apricot Gum at 3.33/5.  But, all were pretty solid.  I don't usually rate a nicotine pouch over a 4, so generally if you see my rating between a 3 and a 4, that means it's a good product that I would recommend.  So there you go, dig in!
