The Klint line seems to be cranking out a lot of new flavors lately. It's been growing pretty widely since I first had it a while back, and now we have come to one of their new flavors I just got ahold of to try out. This is Klint Pink Grapefruit! Grapefruit isn't an overly common citrus in the world of snus or nicotine pouches, so it's pretty fun to try out one whenever I cross paths with this unique taste! From the Klint website, this is how they describe it: "
KLINT Pink Grapefruit nicotine pouches provide a burst of tangy and refreshing grapefruit flavor, offering a convenient and flavorful option for nicotine satisfaction". Each can weighs 14 grams, and contains 20 pouches weighing 0.7g each. The nicotine content sits at 15mg/g, which breaks down to 11.2mg/portion.
Well, why don't we go ahead and crack a can, get into this and do a little review? Opening the can, the aroma is tart, and citrusy. It's got a present grapefruit to it, and it comes through with a little sweetness, too. The pouches are slim, and soft to the touch. They have a moderate moisture amount and feel pretty good under the lip, and against the gum! In the flavor, it's sweet, but tart. The grapefruit comes across in a present pleasant way. It's nice and citrusy. Tart, but not too tart. Sweet, but not too sweet. The nicotine strength feels about the regular level, maybe a little above. Not too much, not too little. I find the flavor hangs out about 40 to 45 minutes, on average. All in all, not too bad.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was pretty decent. I rated it at 3.08/5. It was nice to try one with a grapefruit flavor, because it's not a flavor that people make very often. Kudos to Klint for making something interesting. It's on the lower end of my rating scale, but not a bad product by any means. I think if you like citrusy flavors, you'll enjoy this one.
