Another Snus Factory's Loop Nicotine Pouches line is known for blending some interesting flavors. Also, they're known for making "spicy" flavors. Many of their common flavors add the element of heat, or chili, to flavors such as mint, lime, and now rhubarb. I recently
saw this one available and had to give it a go. I'm not the biggest rhubarb fan, but I do love spicy tastes! The flavor description for this one says "
A flavor of rhubarb with a hint of chili". Each can weighs in at a 13.75g and has 20 pouches, for 0.69g each. The nicotine content on the can says 9.4mg/pouch, so doing a little backward math that sits at 13.62mg/g in total. Though, as we know, the nicotine per pouch is what matters most because that's what you actually experience.
So, how's the product? It's honestly not that bad. I notice some sweetness in the aroma, a present tone of rhubarb, then some mild chili. It makes me think of jalapeño. The pouches are slim, and semi-dry, but not too dry. They have a nice fit in the lip, and feel pretty comfortable. There's also a nice burn when you put one in. In the flavor profile I notice the pepper up front. Again, it seems to remind me of jalapeño. The rhubarb taste comes in right behind it and adds a tart component to the flavor profile. There's some sweetness to it, but it's not overdone. The nicotine on this one feels to deliver at about the regular strength level. There is a solid hour of flavor longevity with this one.
Rating and Final Thoughts
All in all, not a bad product. It's not my favorite Loop product by any means, but it's pretty decent. I like when companies do something different, and not the standard run of the mill flavors. Loop definitely offers a lot of unique tastes. This one rated at 3.17/5. It's not bad, but not a favorite. I think people who like rhubarb, however, will be really satisfied with this one and enjoy it a good bit!
