Over the past year, I decided to start reviewing a wider range of tobacco products that I enjoy. I love snus, but I've recently started reviewing other products like American dip and nasal snuff. I've used nasal snuff since 2009 or 2010, but I never really reviewed it much until recently. Now, you'll find nasal snuff reviews here at Snubie.com! McChrystals is a UK based company going back to 1926. They're currently in their fourth generation running the company. Today we're checking out their Sunset snuff! The product description for this one says, "A tribute to the candied apricot". This is a 3.5 gram mini tin. These mini tins came in the McChrystal's Sample Box.
Prior to this review, I hadn't had this one before, but apricot had me curious! It certainly is a unique, intriguing snuff. Opening the tin, the aroma that comes straight through is a mild, simple, lightly sweet aroma of apricot. This one has a medium grind, and a medium moisture amount. It's pretty easy to take, as well. In the nose, it's mostly apricot, but it's a pretty subtle apricot. It's fresh, and fruity, with a light sweetness. There's a very faint tobacco backing, as well. It doesn't have a major throat hit, nor does it really have much drip to it. In terms of nicotine strength, it's pretty average, and has a decent hit to it. The aroma doesn't linger too much, but there is a subtle apricot presence and a light sweetness that hangs out for a minute.

Rating and Final Thoughts
I like McChrystal's snuff. I find their stuff easy to work with, and pretty high quality. I mostly use McChrystal's, Toque, and Dholakia snuff in my personal rotation. So, it's one of my three favorite brands. I rated this one at 3.17/5. It's a pretty solid one. While it's not one I'd use all the time, it's one I could definitely see myself using on occasion. It would also make a great snuff to use in the summer!
I bought this one from MrSnuff.com. You can too! Also, use code SNUBIE for a sweet discount at checkout.
