The folks at V2 Tobacco, now owned by Swedish Match, have released some nicotine pouches in their popular Thunder range! I found them at SnusExpress' EU store and a friend helped me acquire them for review. It was also brought to my attention that SnusCENTRAL.com just added these, so international/US consumers can order them from there. These are the first nicotine pouches in the Thunder series, and many of them have common counterparts in the Volt or Zyn series. While these are made in Denmark at V2 (Swedish Match Denmark), I've been surprised to see their quality is on par and almost identical to the Volt/Zyn counterparts! This one, for example, has counterparts in both series: Volt Deep Freeze and Zyn Deep Freeze!
If you like menthol, you're going to love this nicotine pouch. When you open the can, you're hit in the face with menthol. It hits like a truck. It's a present, strong, focused aroma of menthol. It has a little sweetness to it as well. The portions remind me a lot of Volt, or the moist Swedish Zyn pouches. They're slim, moderately soft, semi-moist, and pretty comfortable in the lip. They have a light burn at first, then a cooling sensation. In the flavor, it's a present, focused flavor of menthol. It has a light sweetness to it, as well. The nicotine strength feels about the strong level, maybe a little above. In terms of flavor longevity, it lasts about 40-45 minutes on average. About average for most nicotine pouches.
Flavor Description: "A refreshing menthol-eucalyptus flavor".
Can Contents: 16.8 grams, 21 portions, 0.8g each
Nicotine Strength: 13mg/pouch, which is 16.25mg/g in total due to the 0.8g portions.

Rating and Final Thoughts
This one rated in at 3/5 for me. Not really one I enjoyed particularly, mainly because of the overbearing menthol flavor. Now, people who like mint and menthol tastes will probably enjoy this one. It was just a bit much for me. For comparison purposes, it's virtually identical to Volt Deep Freeze and Zyn Deep Freeze. I didn't really notice much of a difference, though. So, I'm not really sure how to recommend it, other than saying I guess if you can get ahold of it and want to try something new, sure, here you go.
