NIXS Strong Ice & Espresso (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 19 May 2021.

The NIXS Nicotine Pouches line is a line of products made in Sweden. It launched early last year, and I've reviewed many products in the line since then. One of these products is a stronger version of their mint product Icy Mint, the other one is more interesting. Back in November, I reviewed their tobacco-free line: Zeronito. One of those products was espresso flavored.  When I reviewed it, I remarked that the flavor of that product was one of the best pouched coffee flavored products I've had so far.  I mentioned that it would be quite good as a nicotine pouch.  When I got ahold of these products, NIXS said that it was my review that inspired them to release this NIXS Espresso product, so I'm pretty excited to try it out today!

Review:  When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a mild aroma of black coffee.  It's lightly sweet, and has a subtle creaminess to it.  The pouches are nice and soft, plump and full!  These aren't the slim size pouches, these are the full size pouches; this isn't something common in nicotine pouches.  The flavor is quite good.  It's a smooth taste of black coffee, wrapped up with a light creaminess and a mild touch of sweetness.  The nicotine on this one feels about regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 45 minutes, on average!

Review:  Yes, I know, there's a million mint products on the market.  And you're probably thinking yay, another one.  But, to be fair, this one has the plump/full size pouch and not a slim size like most products.  That makes it more enjoyable, in my opinion.  It's different, unique!  In the aroma, it's a sharp, lightly sweet aroma of peppermint.  The pouches we talked about a little, but they feel great in the lip.  And they have a nice cooling presence since it's a mint nicopod.  The flavor is pretty refreshing.  It's a sharp taste of peppermint with a light sweetness to it.  In the nicotine level, it feels right at the extra strong level and has a solid kick to it.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

Both of these were pretty solid products.  Espresso rated at 3.38/5, and the Ice Mint one rated at 3.04/5.  The espresso one was quite impressive and probably one of the best coffee flavored nicotine pouches I've had yet.  The mint one was pretty good, mainly because the plump, full size pouches set it apart from the other ones on the market.  The entire NIXS line is pretty good though, and very underrated.  If you haven't had it and like this sort of product, I suggest checking it out!
