Cannadips CBD Pouches: Ridgeline Runtz (4/20 Limited Edition) - Review. 3 May 2021.

Today, we're going to talk about the latest release from Cannadips in their Humboldt Collection.  This was released on April 20th (or, 420), and is a collaboration between Cannadips and Jason Gellman of Ridgeline Farms.  This is Ridgeline Runtz!  While I am mostly a snus user, I've been reviewing CBD pouches for quite a while.  Mrs. Snubie got me into them, and I've been quite impressed with all the benefits I get from CBD in my life, particularly headache and body pain relief.  Cannadips is my preferred brand, and I really dig the Humboldt collection.  It's where you'll find the most in depth, impressive flavor profiles.  Both Cannadips and Ridgeline are in the Emerald Triangle region in Northern California, which is the largest Cannabis producing region in the United States!

The description for this product says, "In collaboration with Ridgeline Farms, we're introducing RUNTZ!  First bred in LA, Runtz is a cross between strains Zkittles and Gelato. The result is a unique terpene profile that boasts sugary candy with strong aromas of citrus and berries."  To get more specific, Runtz is a combo of Gelato and Zkittles.  Gelato is a cross between Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, while Zkittles is a mix of Grape Ape, Grapefruit, and an undisclosed strain from 3rd Gen Family and Terp Hogz.  While I don't do marijuana, I found cannabis culture and blending is truly fascinating.  Each can of Cannadips weighs in at 8.25g, and has 15 pouches, for a weight of 0.55g per pouch.  Each pouch has 10mg of CBD per pouch.

Mrs. Snubie's favorite Cannadips product is Zkittles, and it's one I enjoy from time to time as well, so I was pretty stoked to check this blend out.  In the aroma, I pick up present tones of fruit, along with a mild citrus backing, a light herbal presence, and a subtle sweetness.  The pouches are the white portion material, meaning they're a little dryer, however that does lend itself to a longer lasting flavor release.  As they get more moist in the lip that flavor gets more present, and the pouch gets more comfortable.  In the flavor profile I pick up fruit, right off the bat.  It's a sweet red berry taste with a certain tart note to it.  There are subtle, gentle tones of citrus in the background, followed by a light herbal presence.  In the effect, I find Cannadips to have the best CBD bioavailability on the market in terms of the pouch format, so I'm always pleased with the CBD delivery of these products.  The flavor lasts well over an hour, a hallmark of the Cannadips brand!

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one rated in at 4.13 out of 5.  So far, of all the Cannadips products I've had, none have rated under a 4.  In terms of the products in their line I've had so far, this one is like a more full/complex version of Zkittles.  If you've had that one, this one seems a little sweeter, and more developed in presence.  I enjoyed it, and Mrs. Snubie has already jacked my can as I am finishing writing this review.  The Humboldt line is a solid part of the Cannadips brand.  If you've had their regular line, I suggest diving in and checking out the Humboldt collection.  They make some great products!

Also, don't forget to check out their upcoming giveaway, Croptober 2021.  In October, they're flying 5 winners out to their hometown, putting them up in an old school hotel, and hanging out with the winners / experiencing the Emerald Triangle.  I'll be honest, I had to enter because this sounds like a blast.  You can sign up, here!
