Today, we're going to be talking about a tropical snus: Lyft Carribean Spirit Strong (Slim) Nicotine Pouches! Last summer, I reviewed
the first edition in the Lyft/Lab series. We have seen three releases of this series so far, and each one seems to be a way that the Lyft folks are able to test out new flavors. This was one of those flavors. This was the one known as Lyft Lab 01_01, ands it has now been brought back full time to the Lyft family! The
flavor description for this release says, "
A taste of Piña Colada with a nutty undertone". Each can weighs in at 16.8g and has 24 portions, for 0.7g portions. This is a strong, so the nicotine content is going to be 14mg/g (1.4%), or 9.8gmg/portion.
So, if you had the former Lyft Lab 01_01 and enjoyed that one, don't fret, this one tastes the exact same! When you open the can, a present, tropical aroma of pineapple greets you with light, cool undertones of coconut. The portions are soft, with a slim fit in the lip, and a soft portion material. The contents are moderately moist, so the pouch remains soft and releases flavor quickly. The flavor is nice and tropical! We just had a snowstorm here last week, but this product makes me long for sunny days on the beach. The flavor is as described: Piña Colada! It has a pretty tropical mix of subtly sweet pineapple, along with fresh hints of coconut. The nicotine strength on this one feels to be at the strong level, and provides a quick but steady release of nicotine. The flavor, on average, lasts about 45 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
In the end, this one rated at 3.33 out of 5. While I'm not a nicotine pouch user, generally anything at a 3 or above is something I consider to be a good/enjoyable product. To be honest, I would probably buy more of this when summer rolls around and its time to hit the beach again. If you're a nicotine pouch user looking for something a little different, or something with a tropical flavor to it, you may really enjoy this one. While not something I could use full time, I find this could be a great flavor to mix things up from time to time, or for those sunny days when a tropical craving kicks in!
