2One Nicotine Pouches - Review. 21 January 2021.

It's time for another nicotine pouch review!  And today, we're going to be talking about 2One Nicotine Pouches, a new nicotine pouch line for the US created by 2One Labs, and produced by our friends at DTPL (Dholakia Tobacco in India).  These are another addition to the synthetic nicotine category, meaning these products do not contain tobacco or tobacco derived nicotine.  This makes them 100% tobacco free, for those looking for a tobacco free life, but one that still has nicotine satisfaction!  Their website provides a little more background:  "2ONE™ was developed and designed for the adult consumer. 2ONE™ Labs Inc. saw the need for a truly 100% tobacco-free portion pouch, one that would not only be tobacco leaf-free, but with absolutely nothing made or derived from tobacco, especially the nicotine! After two years of developing flavor profiles, nicotine strengths and mouthfeel, 2ONE™ was born. Adult consumers who want to move away from tobacco-derived products finally have a choice."

And yes, others who enjoyed the 90's, that classic Spice Girls song "2 Become 1" keeps coming to my mind with this brand name.  Play it while you're reading this review, it'll be fun.

2One Nicotine Pouches: Glacier Mint

Review:  When you open the can, a present, smooth aroma of peppermint greets you.  The portions are smaller in size, but quite soft.  They're like a more comfortable Zyn pouch.  They also have a nice cooling presence under the lip.  The flavor is a nice taste of peppermint.  It's sweet, smooth in nature, and well balanced.  In terms of strength, it feels to be about the regular level, maybe a little less.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.

2One Nicotine Pouches: Eucalyptus Rush

Review:  When you open the can, a smooth, lightly sweet menthol/eucalyptus aroma greets you.  It isn't overly medicinal in the aroma or the flavor, which is impressive!  The portions are the same - smaller in size, but pretty soft in the lip, and with a mild cooling sensation!  The flavor is a sweet menthol taste, with a light eucalyptus character.  It's pretty well balanced in nature!  The nicotine feels to be about the regular strength level, and the flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes, on average.

2One Nicotine Pouches: Very Berry

Nicotine Strength:  6mg (assuming that is per portion)

Review:  The aroma of this one is a light menthol smell with hints of berry.  It's more of a strawberry/raspberry blend in the aroma.  The portions, again, are smaller in size, but pretty soft in the lip.  The flavor is a mix of berries, but to me it seems like it's a strawberry, raspberry, and grape blend.  I notice hints of menthol in the background, but they aren't too overpowering.  The nicotine level feels about regular strength, and the flavor seems to last around 40-45 minutes on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I was pretty impressed with these products, and I think they'll be a great addition to the US market.  Dholakia makes some pretty solid nicotine pouches (they're the ones developing my Snubie Chai Latte product), so I knew these would be solid going into them.  I think folks in the US looking to go completely tobacco free will really dig these.  To rank them, Glacier Mint was #1 at 3.17 out of 5, Very Berry at #2, with 3.13 out of 5, and Eucalyptus Rush at #3, with 3 out of 5.  All three were solid though, and I enjoyed them all - even the eucalyptus one.  I usually one enjoy menthol/eucalyptus when I have a head cold, but these weren't super medicinal and were quite enjoyable.  If you're a nicotine pouch consumer in the US, keep your eyes out for these!
