ZeroNito (Tobacco & Nicotine Free) - Reviews. 28 November 2020.

Today we're going to be doing something a little different.  We're taking about ZeroNito, a product line from MicroZero AB.  This company also makes the NIXS Nicotine Pouches line that I've previously reviewed.  As you know, I'm a snus guy, so I enjoy tobacco and nicotine.  But, I review these products because they're a good option for those who may be looking to quit tobacco, or nicotine in general.  Products like these allow them to still feel a pouch under their lip, but without tobacco and nicotine.  While I may not use them, it's good that they're out there.  For tobacco harm reduction advocates, all these products have their place!  For those interested in trying these out, I've seen them for sale on Snussie.com for the international market, and Snusbolaget.se for Sweden.  In this review, I'll be reviewing four products, so let's get into it!

ZeroNito: Stark

Flavor:  "A powerful tobacco taste."

When you open the can, a slight aroma of pepper greets you, along with some hints of smoke.  The pouches are quite soft to the touch, and pretty plump.  The flavor is a mix of pepper tones, and a hint of smoke.  On average, the flavor lasts about 30-40 minutes.

ZeroNito: Mint

Flavor:  "A fresh taste of mint."

This one has a pretty fresh aroma to it.  It's a smooth aroma of peppermint, with a light sweetness to it.  The portions are nice and plump, and quite soft under the lip.  The flavor is a pretty gentle taste of peppermint, with a light sweetness to it.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 35-40 minutes.

ZeroNito: Espresso

Flavor:  "A full taste of espresso."

Now this one, I really like.  It has a rich, smooth black coffee smell with a light creaminess to it.  The portions are nice and plump.  This one has a smooth, creamy taste of coffee!  It's very well balanced, not too bitter, and has just the right amount of sweetness.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-50 minutes.

 

ZeroNito: Enbar

Flavor:  "A fruity taste of forest juniper."

This one has an interesting smell to it.  It has a light herbal character, and then a gentle hint of juniper.  The portions are plump, and pretty soft to the touch!  The flavor is a mild taste of juniper, with a light herbal hint, and a gentle touch of pepper in the background.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 35-40 minutes!

Rating and Final Thoughts

To rank them from top to bottom, Espresso ranked at 3.45/5, Stark at 3.15/5, Enbar at 3.1/5, and Mint at 3/5.  The Espresso one was super tasty.  I don't know why we can't get a nicotine pouch that has that flavor in it, because they really nailed it in this one, but it doesn't have any nicotine in it.  

Obviously, these products aren't for me.  I'm a snus guy, and I love nicotine.  However, I'm glad they're out there for people who may be wanting to quit snus or dip or nicotine pouches, but still have that feeling of a pouch in their lip.  If that's you, I definitely suggest checking out the Espresso one.  It's super tasty.
