Siberia Black (White Dry) - Review. 17 November 2020.

GN Tobacco recently launched the Siberia Black line, and has added three new additions to this flavor profile:  Slim Original, White Dry, and Slim White Dry.  Siberia is one of the strongest snus products on the world, and it originally just came in a mint flavor profile.  Now, Siberia Black brings the traditional tobacco flavor to the "insanely strong" nicotine strength category.  The flavor description for this one says, "Classic and spicy Swedish tobacco flavor – peppery and with flowery elements."  Each can weighs 16g, and I counted 19 portions.  I weighed them out at 0.67g each.  The nicotine content is 43mg/g (4.3%), and with the 0.67g portions that breaks down to 28.81mg/portion.

When you open the can, the aroma is predominantly a peppery tobacco smell, along with gentle floral notes.  The portions are soft, and pretty plump for only 0.67g portions.  The flavor is mostly tobacco, with some spicy notes of pepper, light floral hints, a light smokiness, and a hint of leather.  The nicotine kicks pretty quick; I feel it within about 10 minutes, and it feels well above the extra strong level.  I can't keep them in too long, given how strong they are, so I can't speak to how long the flavor lasts.

Rating and Final Thoughts

So, Siberia Black White Dry rates at 2.38/5 for me.  I'm not the biggest fan of this stuff, though.  I think snus should be capped at 26mg/g of nicotine, because nobody really needs more than that.  Even the heaviest smokers can quit with 16-17mg/g nicotine snus.  The aroma and flavor isn't too bad, but it's much, much too strong.

If you're a fan of these super high nic products and want one that isn't mint, you'll probably enjoy this one.  It tastes pretty good, just much too strong for me, personally.
