The folks at GN Tobacco have released another new product in their White Fox nicotine pouch line, this one with a more traditional flavor! If you're not familiar with nicotine pouches, these are products containing nicotine but completely free of tobacco (they are usually made of plant fiber). The tobacco flavor is hard to accomplish in a product without tobacco, but companies are starting to attempt to make a tobacco flavored nicotine pouch. AG Snus tried with their
Shiro Virginia Classic, and NIXS attempted it with their new Smokey Tobacco and Bergamot Tobacco nicotine pouches. Now, GN Tobacco is taking a stab at it. The
flavor description for this one says, "
A taste of dark tobacco and smoke". Each can weighs 15 grams and has 20 portions, for 0.75g portions. The nicotine content is 30mg/g (3.0%), or 22.5mg/portion.
When you open the can, a peppery, smoky aroma greets you. The portions are smaller in size, nice and slim, and comfortable under the lip. As far as the flavor goes, does it taste like tobacco? No, because it doesn’t have tobacco. But it is reminiscent of tobacco. There is a light spiciness to it, along with hints of smoke, and something that reminds me of leather. It has tobacco-like qualities, even without tobacco in the pouch. The nicotine strength feels to be between strong and extra strong, and the flavor lasts about 35-45 minutes on average. But of the tobacco flavored nicotine pouches I've had so far, this one probably had the most enjoyable flavor of them.
I do agree. The taste is not really like tobacco but more like black tea. Something like earl grey. Very mild and enjoyable and no burn under the lip.
