Zyn Dark Frost (Nicotine Pouches) - Review (Discontinued. 23 June 2020.

It seems like for ever G4 product (white tobacco), Swedish Match releases a Zyn product (nicotine pouches), and vice-versa. This is a nicotine pouch version of G4 Dark Frost (White Tobacco), which Swedish Match released a few months ago. This one isn't as strong; that one was 18.5mg/g, this one is 16mg/g.   I actually found this one more enjoyable, because that one hit really hard and really quick with the nicotine. This one is strong, but with a more steady delivery.  This one is also a Swedish Zyn product, meaning it's going to be moist, and not dry like the US versions.  The flavor description says, "Intense flavor of menthol and dark berries".  Each can weighs 16.8g and has 21 portions for 0.8g portions.  The nicotine content is 16mg/g (1.6%), or 12.8mg/portion.

If you're not familiar with Zyn, here's a look inside the pouch. Again, this is a moist version, and not the same as the dry version sold in the US. Zyn is completely tobacco free, and contains nicotine, vegetable fiber and cellulose powder (E-460). While it may look like other white tobacco products, it doesn't actually contain tobacco. Everything else about it is similar to snus - the can, the portions, the way it feels in the lip, and how the nicotine releases. The only difference is the lack of tobacco in this one.

When you open the can, a presence of menthol greets you right up front. The berry aroma is like a mix of blueberry with a faint touch of grape. The portions are slim, soft, and feel comfortable under the lip. You'll feel a burn when you put one in, then a gentle cooling presence. The flavor is mostly blueberry, but I notice a hint of grape in there, as well. There's a menthol character wrapped around these flavors, as well. The nicotine level feels right at the extra strong level, and the flavor lasts about 45 minutes on average. If you like nicotine pouches and you want something with a unique flavor, you'll probably dig this one.  It also comes with a pretty solid nicotine kick, as well!
