Today, I'm going to be reviewing a new product from Nordic Snus AB in Sweden: Nordic Spirit Berry and Stripes (Nicotine Pouches)! This is a new collaborative release between Nordic Snus AB and
Nikben. I'm not familiar with them, but it looks like they're a clothing store in Sweden. I will say this, though - this is one of the cleanest, nicest looking cans I've seen in a while. Now, if you're not familiar with nicotine pouches, these are products similar to snus but with a big difference: they don't contain tobacco. These products contain some form of plant fiber, along with nicotine, and are an alternative for those wanting to quit tobacco, but still enjoy nicotine!
I'm in the US, and I found this one for sale on
SnusMe.com. The
flavor description says it has a "
taste of strawberries". This product come with a 13 gram can containing 20 slim portions, at 0.65 grams each. There is a nicotine content of 9mg/portion, which means the total nicotine content is probably around 13-14mg/g.
When you open the can, a present, lightly sweet strawberry aroma greets you. This one reminds me a lot of the
Lyft Ruby Berry that launched recently in terms of aroma and flavor. The Nordic Spirit pouches are a little more dry than the average nicotine pouch, but these still feel pretty comfortable under the lip. The flavor is quite refreshing. The strawberry taste is present, and it comes through in a gentle, lightly sweet way. There's really not much else I pick up with this one, just strawberry. The nicotine strength feels to be about the regular level, and the flavor lasts about 45-55 minutes on average. But all in all, a pretty tasty product. I'm glad to see strawberry finally getting some releases!
