Ministry of Snus in Denmark, makers of
RITE Chew Bags, has joined the nicotine pouch category with their new Ace Superwhite line. This line has four flavors: Citrus, Cool Mint, Extreme Cool, and Eucalyptus! If you aren't familiar with this new category of product, nicotine pouches are products that contain nicotine, but no tobacco! They're a great alternative for those who may want to quit tobacco, but still enjoy nicotine. Ace is a product made with plant fibers, and completely free of tobacco. I really dig the cans; as a skier they make me think of being on the slopes for some reason.
The flavor description for Ace Superwhite: Cool Mint says, "
Ace Superwhite Cool Mint have a very nice taste and flavour with a release of chilly mint together with a stronger taste of peppermint for a great rush when you want it. A super nice, fresh and amazing sensation – stimulating, magnificant and completely free from tobacco." Each can weighs 12g and has 24 portions, for 0.5g portions. The nicotine content is 16mg/g (1.6%), or 8mg/portion.
The aroma of Cool Mint is a mildly sweet peppermint aroma. It's pretty gentle, and well balanced; it isn't as sharp as I've noticed with other peppermint products. The portions are soft, moist, and rather comfortable in the lip. Being a mint product, I do get a nice fresh cooling sensation under the lip as well. The flavor is a milder peppermint taste. It is sweet and refreshing, and gentle in nature. The nicotine kick feels to be strong - not too weak, not too strong - just right! I find the flavor, on average, lasts about 45 minutes. It was inevitable that they would make a mint product - mint is what sells nowadays. I enjoyed the milder mint character of this one, and the well balanced nature of the flavor profile!
