Granit X-Intense White Slim - Review (Discontinued). 7 November 2017.

First of all, this is a new product that technically isn't a new product. The name Granit X-Intense White Slim may sound new, but it's actually Granit Slim White Extra Strong in a new can. Some of you may remember I reviewed that one about a year ago.  It's been a while since I've had it, so it's been fun revisiting this one.  I will say this, the new can design looks much better!  I've been loving the redesign of the Granit series lately. When it comes to the flavor description for this product, it says "Granit X-Intense White Slim Portion is a snus of strong tobacco character. The sophistication of the snus is accompanied by natural tones of bergamot." This product comes in a 16.8 gram can with 24 portions, for 0.7 gram portions. The nicotine content is 15mg/g (1.5%), which breaks down to 10.50mg/portion.

When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a really present smell of bergamot, a strong peppery aroma, and a little tobacco. The portions are slim, white, and dryer to the touch than your average white portion. They're not too dry, however. They still feel comfortable in the lip.  The taste is a bold taste of citrus accompanied by a present flavor of tobacco.  The citrus and the tobacco seem to be pretty evenly matched.  There is also a nice presence of pepper in the background which compliments the citrus and the tobacco quite well!  The flavor of this one also has a good amount of life on it; I've found I can keep this one in for a little over an hour.  The nicotine kick is stronger than your regular snus, but doesn't feel to be quite at the extra strong level.  I'd place it right between a strong and an extra strong.
