V2 Tobacco is back with another new chew bag release! This one is another in the Thunder X series, Thunder IceBoom! V2 has been leading the pack when it comes to chew bags, as no other company makes as many varieties as they do. When it comes to the
flavor description for this product it says, "
Thunder X IceBoom White Dry Chew Bags has a booming and sweet icy flavor. This combined with extremely strong tobacco gives the product its uniqueness. The taste impressions are the cooling sweetness followed up by the Xplosive strength of the tobacco. This product has a regular sized pouch." This product comes in a 13.2 gram can with 24 portions for 0.55 gram portions. The nicotine content is 45mg/g (4.5%), which breaks down to 24.75mg/portion.

my video on it that explains more in depth differences. Basically, this is how V2 describes them: "
The tobacco leaves are heated and moistened with steam so they can be cut into smaller pieces. The tobacco for Thunder Chewing Bags are pieces cut with a length of between 5 - 50 mm and a width of 0.6-0.8 mm. The bags used are specially designed to be chewed to release flavor and nicotine. It is made from a paper with a special weave which which is thicker and much stronger than the type of bag that snus is packed in. Thunder Chewing Bags are also fundamentally different from the other chewing tobacco products on the market by being cut tobacco in small bags while others are made from spun tobacco." You can see that they don't look too much different from regular snus by looking at the photo. The tobacco inside, however, is the main difference you can see in the picture, as the chew bag tobacco is cut and the snus tobacco is ground. And though it's said that you can chew these bags, I never do.
When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a sharp, sweet mint smell. It’s almost like a blend of mint and menthol. The mint seems closer to peppermint than spearmint. The portions are light in weight, so you’ll need to fluff them to loosen the tobacco up before putting it in your lip. They feel like regular white portions, and are comfortable in the lip. You’ll encounter a nice tingle/burn sensation when you put a portion in your lip, as well! The nicotine hits pretty quick, as does the flavor. The taste is a sweet, mellow mint flavor. It’s like a really mild peppermint taste, but with this cooling menthol flavor wrapped around it. IceBoom has a very strong nicotine kick, as well. It hits fast, and it hits hard! The flavor is also really long lasting; I’ve found I can keep these in for up to an hour and a half!
If you like Thunder X or Siberia, you’ll like this product. It has a strong nicotine kick, but the taste seems to be more mellow than Thunder X or Siberia.
