Thunder X - Preview. 24 November 2016.

After the recent release of Offroad Arctic Xplorer, it seems V2 Tobacco is at it again, releasing 3 new products in the high nicotine category. V2 describes this new line as high powered snus with natural nicotine. It is said to have a mint/menthol flavor that is fresh and cold, bringing you close to mother nature's far north. The design is said to be edgy and on the rougher side, showing the raw power in black and white design. There are three products being released in the Thunder X line.

First, we'll look at the cans, talk about the description and then after that we're going to look at the nicotine breakdown and compare it to Siberia and Offroad X.

Now, what you're probably wondering is, "Is Siberia still the strongest snus in the world?" No, it has been topped by the new Thunder X (Portion).  Siberia comes in second now in terms of the world's strongest snus.  When I rank snus, I look at mg/portion because that is the amount that is most relevant when applying nicotine to can weight.  To rank them by mg nicotine per portion, the ranking goes like this: Thunder X (40.5mg/portion), Siberia (32.88mg/portion), Thunder X SWD (31.5mg/portion), Thunder X White Dry and Offroad Arctic Xplorer (both 29.25mg/portion).  V2 has always done a great job with free nicotine levels, especially in the Thunder line, so I'm honestly a little nervous about trying this one!
