Oden's Lime Loose Review. 25 July 2013.

Review Updated: 22 May 2020

Wow, I can't believe it's been 7 years since I've reviewed this one.  This is one of those Oden's products that is hard to find and order online if you're in the US, so it makes sense.  I haven't done many loose reviews lately, so I thought it would be fun to go back and do this one.  I really enjoy loose, and this is a great one to pair with beer due to the lime flavor!  The flavor description of this one says it has a "well rounded and flavorful tobacco blend with fruity lime flavors which don’t overpower the classic tobacco flavor".  Each can weighs 40g, and has a nicotine content of 9mg/g.

When you open the can, the aroma that greets you is a tart, natural smell of lime with a mild tobacco presence. The loose itself is moist, and incredibly easy to bake. It's nice and soft, and feels great under the upper lip. The lime flavor is gentle, and tart. It's incredibly well balanced with the tobacco taste. The tobacco flavor is mild, and earthy, and pairs quite well with the lime taste. The nicotine strength on this one feels to be about the regular level, and the flavor lasts about 45 minutes, on average!  And, as I said above, it's a great snus to pair with a beer.  Nothing like a big prilla of lös, and a nice IPA!
