I've been a fan of LD snus for quite some time. When it comes to the traditional flavor profile, LD ranks up there with General and Skruf for me in terms of flavor. Though it's a "value" snus which is often cheaper than General, it packs a flavor that is much better than most value priced products! The flavor description from

LD Original Portion has a soft taste of tobacco, with a hint of citrus and bergamot. This snus has a regular sized pouch." This product comes in an 18 gram can with 20 portions, for 0.9 gram portions. The nicotine content is 8mg/g (0.8%) for 7.2mg/portion of nicotine.
When you open the can the aroma immediately comes through and it's a very bold and present citrus aroma. The portions are very moist, and incredibly comfortable. The taste is a very classic Swedish traditional taste - a very present citrus/bergamot flavor, a great pepper flavor and a little salt in the background. The tobacco taste is very mildly present, but the citrus is in the front seat when it comes to this snus. The flavor lasts a good amount of time; I've found I can enjoy these for up to 45 minutes. The nicotine also feels to be about regular strength, as well. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to General, LD is definitely one to consider. In my opinion, it's one of the best ones on the market!
