Cannadips Banana Runtz (5X THCP Pouches) - Review. 15 September 2024.

The folks at Cannadips have done it again, continuing on their mission to get you legally ripped:  meet Cannadips Rippers Banana Runtz!  About a year ago, they launched their THCP pouches, but now have kicked it up a notch by releasing some 5X THCP pouches!  If you're not familiar with THCP, it's a naturally occurring compound found in hemp.  Some of the effects are said to be pain relief, nausea relief, and anxiety relief, as well as euphoric/relaxing feelings.  To add, Cannadips does give a little disclaimer on this one:  "This product is from hemp and under .3% THC however can make you fail a drug test".  If you're not familiar with the Banana Runtz strain, it was made by crossing Banana OG and Runtz.  The strain itself is said to have "initial mild banana notes [which] give way to spicy, earthy, floral flavor profiles".  Cannadips describes it like this:  "You'll enjoy a familiar banana taste with hints of Humboldt's favorite crop".   

Like with other Cannadips products, each can weighs 8.25 grams, and contains 15 pouches, weighing 0.55g each.  Their regular THCP product is 1.5mg/pouch, but this one kicks it up all the way to 7.5mg/pouch!

Opening the can, the aroma that comes through has some spice to it, along with an earthy, herbal tone.  It's not super banana-y, but I think I was expecting more Banana Runtz candy and it's actually more Banana Runtz strain (which, to be honest, I haven't had before).  The pouches are slightly dry at first, but as they get more moist under your gum, you'll find they get quite soft.  In the flavor, it does seem to have a very slight banana taste to it, but it's more of that herbal/earthy tone to me.  It has a slight touch of spice to it, and is pretty well balanced in nature.  It's pretty tasty.  The flavor also lasts quite a while, an hour plus.  The effect, wow.  So, I honestly wasn't expecting this much.  I saw their video on Twitter and was like, sure okay, but yeah, it actually gets you lit.  To best describe it, it's like a super chill vibe.  Like, more effect from this than any other Cannadips product I've had yet.

Rating and Final Thoughts

Gotta be honest, I'm feeling pretty good right about now.  I am definitely looking forward to more flavors in the 5X THCP range.  This one wasn't too bad, it reminded me a lot of the flavor I got from their OG Kush product.  I give this one a 4.04/5.  But yeah, that effect on this one - whew.  If anything, let that be a disclaimer, it has a nice kick to it.
