Another day, another mint nicotine pouch! I know, it seems like the market nowadays is mostly focused around more and more mint flavors. So, that's what we have on hand today, Swedish Match's new Zyn Cool Frost Slim. This is one of the Zyn products for Sweden, which means it has the slim, moist pouches and not the mini dry ones like the US Zyn has. These are much better in terms of quality and how they feel under the lip. The
description for this one says, "
A taste of peppermint and menthol". Pretty straightforward there. Each can weighs 14.7 grams and contains 21 pouches, for 0.7 grams each. The nicotine content is 15.6mg/g, which is roughly 9mg per pouch.
Opening up the can, the aroma of this one reminds me a lot of the
Swedish Zyn Cool Mint, as does the flavor. I'm not sure, but honestly this could be a clone of that one. The aroma on this one is a smooth, fresh smell of peppermint along with a light touch of menthol lingering about. The nicotine pouches are slim, and pretty soft to the touch with a decent amount of moisture. Under the lip they feel quite soft, and yield a gentle cooling sensation when you put one in. In the flavor, it's a pretty mild, straightforward taste of peppermint. It's not mega-sweet, and has a pretty fresh aspect to it. The nicotine strength seems to kick around the regular level. The flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
So, all in all, it's a pretty standard peppermint nicotine pouch. If you've had Volt or Zyn's peppermint flavors (in Sweden), this one doesn't seem too far off of that one. I rated it at 3.29/5. Honestly, it's not really for me, and there are a billion of these out there already, but if you like peppermint and want a high quality nicotine pouch, I think you'll be very satisfied with this one.
