Velo Orange Spark (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 19 July 2024.

The Velo series recently went through a design change, as well as changing the names of a bunch of their popular products.  They also launched a few new ones, including the one we're going to talk about today:  Orange Spark!  I grabbed this one recently from SnusMe to check out, because I like the taste of orange.  There aren't a lot of orange flavored products out there, so I figured I would give this one a go!  The flavor description for this one says, "A flavor of orange with a light tingling sensation".  Each can weighs 14 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.7 grams each.  The nicotine content is 15.57mg/g, which breaks down to 10.9mg/pouch.  So, let's get into this one and check it out!

So, to back track, this one reminds me of one I've had before.  When I first checked it out, I kept thinking I've had this before.  And sure enough, I re-read some old reviews and this one seems to be relaunch of 2020's Lyft Summer Beat, also called Lyft Orange Blossom in some markets.  If you missed that one, I'll still do a full review.  In the aroma, this one has a straightforward aroma of orange.  It's slightly sweet in nature, as well.  The pouches are slim, moist, and feel nice under the lip.  They do, yes, have a "tingling" sensation as the can says on top.  The flavor of orange is pretty present.  It's not super tart, but it is a little on the sweeter side.  In the strength, it feels to be maybe a little above the regular level, hovering around the strong market.  The flavor lasts a solid 40-45 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

So, as I mentioned before, this one is basically the same as Lyft Summer Beat from 2020.  That was a good one, so I was glad to see this one had the same flavor as that one.  I rated it at 3.67/5.  It's pretty tasty!  There aren't a lot of orange products out there, so if you like citrus, this is one you'll want to check out!
