For the past few years, each summer Swedish Match has been releasing a limited edition flavor in their Göteborgs Rapé lineup. When I saw that this one was floral in nature, it definitely had me curious. One note about this design from Swedish Match: "

As far as flavor details go, this one is described like this: "
Light and nuanced tobacco character with hints of cherry, small streaks of citrus and a sweet florality that rounds it off". Each can weighs 21.6 grams and has 24 portions, weighing 0.9g each. The nicotine content sits at 8mg/g, or 7.2mg/portion!
Opening the can, the aroma that comes through is very clearly cherry. The flavor description that says "hints of cherry" was off, as it is a big cherry aroma. I pick up subtle, light, airy floral hints to it, along with a gentle tobacco base. The white portions come in the beautiful star formation. I do like to fluff them and roll them around in my fingers to plump them up before putting them into my lip. They're pretty soft, moderately moist, and feel nice under the lip. In the flavor, like with the aroma, it's mostly cherry. It is balanced out with some nice floral notes, but it's mostly cherry. The tobacco base is gentle, and subtle. I don't really taste much citrus, though. Maybe a little orange in the back, but it's very faint. Nicotine-wise, this one hits right at the regular level. I find the flavor longevity to go about an hour, perhaps a few minutes more!
Rating and Final Thoughts
I rated this one at 3.67/5. Honestly, it wasn't bad, just wasn't what I expected. I was hoping it was going to be very floral forward, because not a lot of snus products capture that flavor profile. In the end, it's a cherry flavored snus. That's not a bad thing, though. The flavor is quite good. Not something I'd use day in and day out mind you, but something I definitely enjoyed the flavor of!
