Glad you brought it up. <br /><br />As you say, it has a slightly fruity flavour, that I've never been able to define. I'll go and buy a can to compare with your review.<br /><br />I use this as my number one "summer" snus or just as an excellent variation. After going through 2 cans of this I usually get bored with the fruit and want something "cleaner". <br /><br />Did you know that "Röda Lacket" means "(the) Sealing Wax"? (Compare the word *Lack*(et) to Lacquer, and note the colour on the cans.) It is known for being extremely fine grained (and thus easily pinched), and has been traditionally marketed as a beginner's snus. Dad jokingly still calls it children's snus, from his memories of it 30 years ago.<br /><br />With the portion version all this probably doesn't matter. I like it for it's fruity but non-sweet taste. It works well even after having sweated in a closed pocket during work on a hot Swedish summers day (14 of those a year). :)<br /><br />An equivalent snus would be the Göteborgs Rapé No.2 (a.k.a Lingon), which also has a fresh, fruity but not sugary, taste.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
