Ace Superwhite: Citrus (Nicotine Pouches) - Review (Discontinued). 27 October 2019.

NOTE:  This product was discontinued and relaunched as Ace Green Lemon.

Ministry of Snus in Denmark, makers of RITE Chew Bags, has joined the nicotine pouch category with their new Ace Superwhite line, launched in late 2019.  If you aren't familiar with this category of product, nicotine pouches are products that contain nicotine, but no tobacco! They're a great alternative for those who may want to quit tobacco, but still enjoy nicotine.   I don't personally use nicotine pouches, but I'm glad they're out there for those who are looking for a safer alternative to smoking.  Ace is a product made with plant fibers, and completely free of tobacco. I really dig the cans; as a skier they make me think of being on the slopes for some reason.

The flavor description for Ace Superwhite: Citrus says, "Ace Superwhite Citrus is a fresh flavor with the sharpness of the citrus universe. It’s light but mixed with pure and raw strength, it’s all about the flavor. Minimalistic but still gives you the purest effect and all of this is made without any tobacco, only nicotine!"  Each can weighs 13g and has 20 portions, for 0.65g portions.  The nicotine content is 16mg/g (1.6%), or 10.4mg/portion.

The name is pretty accurate with this one - it is definitely citrusy!  The aroma of this one is a sweet, fresh, natural lemon smell. The portions are moderately soft and pretty comfortable in the lip.  The taste is a sweet lemon flavor. It's not too tart, and is quite pleasant if you like citrus flavors.  It is on the sweeter side, but definitely not overdone in that department.  I find the nicotine strength to feel around the strong level - not too weak, not too strong. The flavor itself lasts around 45 minutes on average.  This one honestly reminds me a lot of the Zyn Citrus product, which is one of my favorite nicotine pouch products.  I'd say this one is probably just a little sweeter than that one.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I don't really use nicotine pouches, so a 3.5 rating out of 5 is pretty solid for me.  If I were to switch from snus to nicotine pouches, this is one of a handful of product that would end up in my full time rotation.  I wish the portions were a little more plump and soft, but that's really my only complaint.  If you're a nicotine pouch consumer, you'll probably enjoy this one.  It is certainly one of the better ones on the market!
